In recent years, allergic events in natural latex coated gloves have occurred frequently, mainly due to the presence of allergen proteins in natural latex. The current solution in the safety gloves industry is to manufacture safety latex products. The latter is an ideal goal. The most promising alternative to natural latex is synthetic latex, or nitrile latex. Labor protection gloves impregnated with nitrile do not contain allergens and are more comfortable and safe to wear. Its dial-up applications are in the pharmaceutical industry, semiconductor industry and oil fields. Nitrile gloves are ideal for more demanding jobs.
If the nitrile latex is vented after mixing, the mold used will not be glazed. If a polished mold film is used, the mold will shrink excessively. After the coagulant dries, the mold temperature does not exceed 70¡ãC. If the temperature is higher than 70¡ãC, it will cause poor film-forming properties, and the film will begin to gel after being immersed in nitrile latex. The correct pH value will ensure that this process is completed before the leaching stage. The next problem is leaching gloves, because nitrile latex is relatively stable, so there is a lot of surfactant in the wet gel. The leached water will remove excess surfactant and remain in calcium chloride and soluble impurities. The leaching temperature cannot exceed 45¡ãC, and if it exceeds this temperature, the film will shrink. The final stage of the production line is vulcanization. Nitrile latex is not pre-vulcanized, so the vulcanization temperature should be higher. During the vulcanization cycle, the temperature of the oven must exceed 110¡ãC. The best curing conditions should start from 80¡ãC-90¡ãC, then increase to 110¡ãC-120¡ãC, and finally decrease to 80¡ãC~90¡ã. The insufficiently vulcanized nitrile material will have wrinkles, stickiness and durable durability. Sex. After demoulding, semi-finished gloves will be chlorinated to remove surface viscosity.
There are some common problems and solutions in the production of nitrile immersion safety gloves:
The first problem is the pinhole.
Reason: Nitrile rubber has hidden bubbles and is not suitable for impregnation, improper condensation conditions and poor dispersion.
Solution: The mixing time of nitrile material exceeds 16h, the temperature of the hand mold should not be too high, the temperature of the rubber material should be lower than 24¡ãC, the hand mold should be clean, and the coagulant should be filtered to ensure that the grinding time is fully dispersed.
The second problem is the flow marks and knife marks of nitrile
Reason: In the terrible process, the nitrile materials are not continuously in and out, the gelation rate is not properly controlled, and the immersion temperature is not properly controlled.
Solution: reduce jitter, control the amount of stabilizer and control the dipping temperature.
